Regions Stroke and Neuroscience Hospital (Regions) is a new tertiary referral center located on KM 17, Owerri-Port Harcourt Road, Mgbirichi, Imo State, and engaged in the primary function of providing specialized medical care in the treatment of Stroke, Epilepsy, Seizures, Memory Disorder and other Neurological Conditions.

JOB POSITION: HOSPITAL NUTRITIONIST/CATERER

LOCATION: OWERRI-IMO STATE

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Prospective applicants must possess a minimum of BSc, HND or its equivalent in Clinical Nutrition, Food Service Systems Management, Food Technology, Dietetics, Foods and Nutrition, or a related field from a recognized Institution.

The position involves:

Providing Nutritional advice both in the In-Patient and Out-Patient, as well as the ICU.

Observes infection control and Regions’ policies in food handling, storage, wearing gloves and proper protective equipment.

Follow the diet sheets as set out by the Head, Clinical services and ensure that patients get the correct menu.

Follow all dietary changes as outlined by the Nursing Staff.

*Working as an independent contractor, prepares and delivers food service with optimal nutritional care and meal service to Employees, Hospital patients and guests.

Candidates should be vibrant, smart, sociable, flexible and should have a sound command of English Language.
