Elrufai is having sleepless nights on the case the Islamic Movement in Nigeria instituted against the murderous criminals who executed the brutal and inhuman Zaria genocide. Elrufai included his girlfriend, Hadiza Usman, to be part of Buhari's entourage to Hague, Netherlands. Elrufai himself has been to Netherlands twice in recent months.

Elrufai and gang calculated that if Buhari honor the ICC invitation, they will soft pedal on the pending cases against the Nigerian regime especially the Zaria genocide case which is on the next level of indictment.
