|Aesthetics In Nigerian Mobile Market. by shinzuraven: 11:38am On Aug 03, 2018|
This days when it comes to buying mobile devices, it tends to revolve around our particular needs, also our loyalty to the brands defines alot of us,
fashion driven people tends to lean towards cutting edge design, brand name, colour, camera specs on paper and this is because alot of this people tend to see mobile phones as a luxury item, and that why people in this space tends to stick with devices such apple,Samsung, LG and any other well known global brands.
The mid-tier consumer is by far the largest pool of mobile devices users and consumers, smartphone makers tend to pull in people in this with cheap prices for a near flagship device, devices with large battery, large camera specs(mobile photography is the new cool) and few more flagship specs cooked in but whilst losing on the most important components The processor, mid-tier devices are mostly powered by low end processor, talk about mediatek which is favoured by Nigerian mobile market dominators such as techno, infinix, itel e.t.c fo their exceptional cheap prices while losing out on performance, security and for some updates. But with the influx of refurbished and used top-tier phones into the market, the former seems to be growing and the latter diminishing.
And lastly the super-tier users, techies concerned about the processor, image quality(dxOmark ratings)head to head comparison of flagship devices, droptest, benchmark ratings, battery life, audio quality. This set of users would put all devices through the eye of the needle,we are the ever-divided in views and apple fanboy killers
