We have written about the list of state universities and also the top federal universities in Nigeria but we did not look at that of the private universities. In this article we will be looking /elucidating on the best private universities in Nigeria (2018 /2019).



1.COVENANT UNIVERSITY

The Covenant University is with over 15000 students and it is being ranked among the top 5 Universities in Nigeria, it is located at Ota, Ogun State in Nigeria and was founded in 2002. The university was formed by the Living Faith Church making the founder of the church(David O. Oyedepo) the chancellor of the school.

The school operates a college system having over 4(Four) colleges namely

College of Engineering
College of Science
College of Technology and the
College of Leadership Development.

The university has shown a lot of improvement in terms of infrastructure and their teaching level and they plan to be ranked among the top 10(Ten) universities in the world in 2022 and i think they are keeping up to that.
