The 14th edition of the 2018 Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) Nomination Announcement took place at the WheatBaker Hotels in Lagos by stand-in Chairman of the selection committee Shaibu Husseini.

Out of the 500 films submitted to the jury, there are a total of 14 categories announced to a few set of persons including celebrities who graced the occasion with their presence. The nominations include:
