President Muhammadu Buhari has given approval for a Robotics and AI center to be sites in the Southeastern part of the country. This is part of the numerous developmental and infrastructural revolutions of the APC led federal government targeted at correcting the several years of neglect suffered by the Southeast region in the hands of previous administrations.

Speaking at a rally held in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State capital, where a serving Senator, former Attorney-general and many other high-ranking politicians defected from the crisis ridden PDP to the peaceful and corruption free APC, the Minister of Science and Technology, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu said the center will be the first in the country and one of the best in the world.

A robotics and AI center for the Southeast will go a long way in setting the Southeast on the lane of becoming Africa's technological bastion as the center will greatly revolutionize learning, inventions and as well improve Southeast's commerce and trade in a way that has not been witnessed before.

This is one out of several landmark projects that have been sited in the Southeast by the President Muhammadu Buhari administration and which justifies the earnest determination by majority of Ndigbo to ensure that the President is re-elected for a second term and the APC fills up most, if not all elective seats in next year's general elections.

The APC in Imo State are grateful to the President for his love and support for the Southeast. We congratulate Southeast leaders of the Party who have remained unwavering in their support for the President and push for Southeast development. Deserving prominent mention in this regard is the Southeast leader of the Party and governor of Imo State, His Excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha and all other leaders of the Party in the Southeast.
