I noticed this morning that fan's have taken to their twitter page protesting and asking why DSTV will no longer be showing the community shield, FA Cup and League cup. But what I also found out is that, it's not only DSTV but STARTIMES as well.

Supersports also announced that unfortunately the will not be broadcasting the Community Shield, as our bid for broadcast rights was unsuccessful.

But they won't be broadcasting the community shield, why on earth would they increase thirty subscription, lol.

A fan even said this:
Dstv are the biggest fraud. You pay almost the country’s minimum wage to subscribe and you can’t some cup matches. Scam!

Dstv doesn't care about it's subscribers. Only reason they still have so many accounts is due to the European football. Yet no community shield!! Crazy to think they want Netflix out!! People have been speaking and they haven't been heeding #dstvmustfall

Reason being the huge share they get from Dstv., and tSTv came out to ruin things for them with cheaper offer.
Instead Nigerian youth should speak up they decided to even mock tstv.

can't agree less bro...we all got it wrong when we started mocking tstv for raising our hopes and not fulfilling their promises...but unknown to us that they were brought down by our so called leaders....as if that was not enough they still went ahead to increase subscription price, corruption has really killed this nation.

Really didn't know of the owner before hand but for him to broadcast NBA, NFL, American sports and Espn on the mother continent, that alone deserves an OSCAR award

TSTV came to rescue us from the bondage of dstv but our big ogas at the top didn't allow it see the light of the day. This is one of the reasons why we are where we are in this country...yet we the youth didn't help matter instead we were busy bulshitin TSTV. TSTV was really prepared to knock out dstv. dstv saw it coming and through the backup of our corrupt leaders they killed it completely.
