JOB TITLE; Agric Extension Officer

JOB LOCATION: Nassarawa

JOB TYPE; Full time, Volunteerism

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION; Bsc Agric Extension, Bsc Agric

EXPERIENCE; 1 – 2 Years Experience in field Agric extension work (Recently completed NYSC or still serving can apply)

EXPERIENCE; Fluency in hausa language or local Nassarawa language

Summary of Role;


The hired persons would be responsible for our regional farmer’s education and sensitization programmes
Work with farmers to ensure required quality & standard
Develop content for value chain operators on quality & standard
Work with the strategy unit in developing key contents for our Agric policy advocacy initiatives
Involved in developing strategy for our farmers’ Empower programmes
Work as Agric extension officers to achieve effective yield for farmers in our cooperative group
Work with farmers in our network to achieve optimum yield

COMPETENCE;

Strong passion for Agric Extension work
Excellent Communication skills
Excellent IT skills
Excellent Research ability
Fluency in hausa language
