When you acting like you are all in all, forgetting this is democracy. you have short down judiciary by your flagrant refusal to obey court order, the IG has consistently dishonor the senate invitation owing to you back up. most importantly is that you are the genesis of this problem, everything was peaceful until you diabolically opted for a coup that failed and here you are crying like a child. Sadly some dumb Nigerians with short memories have join you in the cry of shame. stupidanimalisticshitholeevrywere#

The most ineffective government in Nigeria's history. Every year NASS goes on recess. If the executive cannot work with timeline then they should shut up. After all it took them 6months to appoint ministers. Baba go slow when the world is moving at a very high speed. Thank God i'm already in search for second Nationality. Shame on educated Nigerians defending uneducated government

Explain this statement with concrete facts.

*Going on a long recess when national issues are yet to be resolved.
* Illegal suspension of non-loyal Senators.
*Closing of the whole Senate building when ever he's going for his Court cases.
*Inciting the Senators against the Presidency.
*Hand-twisting the Minister of Finance for their selfish gains.
*Abandoning some of their primary duties (oversight).
*Over paying themselves, in the name of salaries and allowances.
*Budget padding.

The least is endless.

Well, in case you do not know, the FG can't just go ahead and work on some projects without the approval of our representatives and that is why it is necessary for them to reconvene in order to pass the bills sent in by the FG.
I know they need the approval of NASS for some projects but we all know the money are meant for next year election.

The president has put these scavengers called senators in a very tight corner. So the padded bugdet is returned to them for reversion. They saw it coming that looting reserve is been channeled into the Nigerian's benefit. Their jackpot is been broken and the largesse kept from the people is been returned to the people they stole it from. That is a masterstroke from Buhari. He is drowning them in theiw own greed. So they saw it coming and quickly went on recess...

Those who berated President Buhari for signing the 2018 budget after acknowledging that some constituency projects were illegally infused should see this. It is not politics all at all. It wad all about money and financial matters. Now the chunk the legislooters keep hope on for their own election is been hijacked from them.

They better reconvene the House or majority of the house will forcefully sack both Saraki and Dogara for negligence of National issue. Election and Security matters are on their desk and the only thing they could think of is recess. They all should better seat in the plenary or they got sacked. We can talk about the legality afterward.

You're either thinking in the 5th dimension (AKA bipolar) or you're not thinking at all.

nothing is different btw gej administration and buhari colony advocate administration, the duo are all borrowing to finance budget in 21 century even those that don't have resources than us, don't borrow reach us

the only different gej and buhari is the hypocrisy buhari is playing, atleast gej know himself is a thief and he affirmed that during his stealing corruption quote

presidency want to shut down, like say their non shut down had improved the standard of living of common citizens

both the nass and the presidency are threat to Nigeria progress. our Democratic settings need thorough and logical redress

We are in deep sh*t in this country. NASS doing its own, presidency threatening to shut down, DSS and EFCC running after defectors...They have no regard whatsoever for the electorate, no compassion, no care in the world!

Worst of all...we all sit and fold our arms or at most we rant on our computers and watch these people play politics at our expense! If I call for a mass protest now, OYO is my case on the D day as people will be too scared to protest, too hungry to hold placards unless I grease palms and pockets! Which way naija?
I will be ready to support your idea of protests.
it looks like we are comfortable with this things happening in a Democratic Government that is what gives the NASS and FG opportunity to misbehave

*[s]Over paying themselves, in the name of salaries and allowances[/s]. Buhari is padding subsidy on petroleum. Yes. Buhari pays N1.4 trillion subsidy per year for what GEJ paid about N300 billion for one year.
*Budget padding. Budget paddingg by Buhari and his loyalists.

The least is endless. List of Buhari's sins are too numerous to be mentioned.

The worst thing Nigeria experienced this century is having that baba go slow of a man as President. The national assembly have a time table which Buhari is aware of. While wait till few days to their vacation before sending a supplementary budget. Now he is forcing them to reconvene and by the way what happened to the main budget. Buhari has selfish motives for asking the Nass to reconvene.
Re: "FG May Shutdown Unless NASS Reconvenes" - Presidency Warns by beegodson: 2:40pm On Aug 07, 2018
The National Assembly should reconvene already and drop their party differences.. they don't even realize that this is somehow affecting the citizens of this country...peace and unity is all we need in this country....Saraki has done not well as a senate president...PMB has the interest of this nation at heart and has asked for peace and unity among the NASS
