When parents lack creative ideas on what to do to keep their kids busy, this will always happen.
I find it funny when parents complain during holidays.

If I may ask, did our parents complain during our time? I still remember my parents asking us to stop going to school immediately exams finished because there are so much to be done at home, so much to be done in the farm.
Even now, parents should look for creative ways of engaging the kids during hols. This can be a very good time for them to acquire skills. Send them to football academy, music lessons, mechanic workshop, tailoring lesson etc.
