2 or 3 bedroom apartment. The amount we pay to landlord as rent could be channeled to become a landlord yourself. I live in birmingham and you can get such accommodation. I know it might be difficult to get such offer in Nigeria due to lack of proper book keeping and contact details but i would appreciate any info on this. Thanks

well most of the banks have such products (to be paid back in 5 - 20 years depending on the bank) or they may help to access NHF loan( payback period may be 30 years or more depending on age). The banks usually have higher interest rates and shorter payback period which is why NHF is better, however it is quite difficult accessing the NHF loan.

Some finance house (savings & loans) claim they can get the NHF loan out in 6 months. Just about to open an account with one so cant verify their claims yet.

Thanks duno for this valuable info. I would not mind if you could send the details to my box( oluwaseunlawal@gmail.com). I know the bank rates would be considerably higher. I would rather start paying for my own crib than pay a landlord at least #1million plus a year.

Looking forward to more info thanks duno again.
