A coalescence of various political associations and youth groups in the two local government areas of Ideato in Imo State, Ideato Unity Forum, has resolved to identify with the gubernatorial bid of the leading aspirant on the platform of APGA, Mr. Okey Ezeh.

The group further directed its members to move into APGA en masse in order to change the political fortunes of Ideato and Imo State at large.

Speaking after its fifth stakeholders' meeting in Akpulu, Ideato North at the weekend, the leader of the group, Comrade Chidozie Orujuba, who is also a former member of the Imo State Working Committee of APGA, decried the rate of infrastructural decadence in Ideato, and regretted that Gov Rochas Okorocha who also hails from the area has not spared even his own people in his ruinous misrule.

He stressed that Ideato people must lead the fight against bad governance which Okorocha represents in order to make a clear statement that there was never a time the atrocities committed by the governor had the support of his people.

Orujuba remarked that the only aspirant who has won the trust of the people and with whom Imo will have a moment of recovery and regeneration is Mr. Okey Ezeh. He insisted that Ezeh is not just in APGA but he is of APGA, and noted that his candidature will institutionalize merit, competence, equity and progress in APGA.

He urged all APGA faithful in the state to stand firmly behind Ezeh so as to save the party forever and deliver good governance to Imo people.
