This year alone, the industry has been thriving on collaborations. The heavyweights like Wizkid, Davido and Olamide have not dropped singles regularly as compared to last year when these guys would have released like 4 singles already.

We’ve heard some mind blowing collaborations this year that wowed us and got us addicted but which collaboration is exactly the best?

1. Soco — Wizkid X Ceeza Milli X Terri X Spotless

Even after several months, Soco is still on repeat on several playlists and still topping charts all over the world.

Soco showed the dexterity and quality of the whole starboy family. The tempo of the beat is similar to Manya‘s as it signifies the basic Afro beat sounds. Wizkid’s perfect Afro beat!.

Wizkid didn’t do much on the track and he sang only the hook and chorus leaving the job this time to be done by his machineries.

In one word, Soco is a hit! However, is it the biggest collaboration so far this year?

2. Baba — DJ Spinall X Kizz Daniel

A banging beat, wonderful intro, sleek flow and complementary lyrics and we had Baba as a smash hit.

Kizz Daniel really came through on this song and it’s just amazing it bangs out so well at clubs and parties.

3. Amaka — 2Baba X Peruzzi

When this song dropped last month, no one actually thought it would grow into the viral hit it is now. Right now, Amaka is topping charts and going viral than ever before.

With 2baba and mastermind behind some of Davido’s hits, Peruzzi on a beautiful beat, Amaka made perfect sense and who knows, it might be the collaboration of the year.

4. Kana — Wizkid X Olamide

Whenever Wizkid and Olamide combine together, you know it’s going to be a banger. After Omotoshan and Confam Ni, they came back again this time for Kana, this time an afrobeat song.

Went viral also and who still remembers that action film themed video involving Olamide. But can it rival Soco and Baba as the best collaboration?

5. Bobo — Mayorkun feat Davido

When Bobo dropped, we envisaged another hit like Che Che or Mama. Exactly how it turned out to be.

The hook “Na Money be fine bobo” stuck to us like a nursery rhyme. Record label honcho, Davido also turned upon the song with his verse as well.

Bobo is still Mayorkun’s best hit of 2018, but can we rate it over Soco and Baba? Maybe, Maybe not?

Now over to you guys

Which One Of These Songs Has Been The Biggest Collaboration So Far This Year?
