Five Kenyan Soldiers were killed on Wednesday, August 8, 2018, when their vehicle was exploded by an extemporized unstable gadget in the eastern Lamu region. A senior Police Officer in Lamu told Newsmen on state of secrecy that the Officers were on a light truck that kept running over the IED and was gravely devastated and the Officers kicked the bucket on the spot, while six others have been harmed.
