Fresh facts emerging from a reliable source revealed that all what happened yesterday at the National Assembly Complex were diabolical plans orchestrated by Saraki and Lawan Daura, DG DSS, to tarnish the image and stain the democratic credentials of the Buhari administration.
Those who are conversant with events in the government circle will recall how Daura was instigated by Saraki to release an unsubstantiatedand incriminating dossier on the Acting Chairman of EFCC, Ibrahim Magu. This was surreptitiouslydone to pervert the course of anti-corruptioncrusade by the central government. Till date, the Senate still harps on this report for their refusal to confirm Magu as the substantive chairman of the anti-corruptionagency, EFCC.
On the authority of an insider, Saraki, being aware of the plans to remove him as the senate president, held series of clandestine meetings with Lawan Daura to sabotage these efforts by some APC senators. Among the plans hatched by Saraki was that Daura would deploy some of his men, in hood, to the National Assembly. True to the plan, the entrance of the National Assembly was blocked; preventing movement of people in and out of the NASS. The dummy that was first sold to unsuspecting Nigerians was the appearance of Senator Rafiu Ibrahim. Senator Rafiu is one of the lackeys and stooges of Senator Saraki. He recently defected with Saraki and thirteen other senators. He came to the National Assembly as early as 7 'o'clock in the morning. What did he come to do at that early time when the National Assembly is on recess? Moreover, Senator Rafiu Ibrahim is not a principal officer.
This drama became more revealing, as all the members present at the National Assembly yesterday were PDP members. None of the APC senators or House of Reps were present. The Senate Leader, Ahmed Lawan, was nowhere near the National Assembly. Senator Godswill Akpabio was preparing for his official defection in Akwa Ibom. Senator Remi Tinubu, as at that time, was in Redeemed Christian Church Camp in Mowe, Ogun State for ordainment. Other APC senators were at one place or the other, except at the National Assembly Complex. All what the DSS did yesterday was acting a script prepared by Saraki and Daura to further discredit President Muhammadu Buhari.
Acting President Yemi Osinbajo did not act in isolation. He diligently carried out the wish of his trusted friend and boss, President Buhari. The sack of Lawan Daura is a loss to Saraki's camp. There are many other moles in this administration;working against the interest of this nation. One by one, they shall be fished out and shown the way out. You cannot be working against the system you're benefiting from. Who does that! Nigerians must speak up against these saboteurs and enemies of state who are collaborating with some wicked politicians to bring this nation down.
