lol.

why this serious effort to rope saraki into one ploy or the other?

the more they try, the more sympathy they gather for the man. most Nigerians don't like saraki, but they do not appreciate the high handed tactics of this administration.

methinks saraki has 'something' that can totally destroy APC or at least, fully expose the hypocrisy of pmb, hence the all out effort to totally discredit saraki so that when the exposé is made, they can try to write it off as 'corruption fighting back'...

OF DRIBBLERS AND THE DRIBBLED.
.
Election is again knocking around. In the past few weeks, we have borne witness to the most galling manifestation of abject want of principle from the masters who straddle our national destiny. They have shown in unpretentious ways that it is not about the country. Every man of them is dashing, with unprincipled desperation, to where his bread would be buttered. It is, after all, a game of interest. These politicians are not betraying this in any subtle or cunning way. They have made it as glaring as possible. What remains curious is why the masses, the pawns in this unscrupulous game for power have remained indiscerning.
.
Only yesterday, somebody was in the dictator's tent, sharing banter and snuff. Today he is out and suddenly fighting dictatorship and for democracy. The masses quickly forgot the part he played in the dictatorship of yesterday and are celebrating him as a lifelong struggler for natural freedom. Just yesterday, somebody was a looter, a hunted fugitive from the law. Today he is purified as he transcends into the spotless rank of our self-acclaimed saviours. The masses unquestioningly follow this cruel farce, like the series of a tragic comedy.
.
Who are the heavy and ultimate losers? The spell-held masses. When Dr. Bukola Saraki gave a speech to tell the nation why he was fed up with the APC, he reeled out a catalogue of piteous complaints. After reading that speech for the first time, I had to go back and read it again. I was looking for something which to my disappointment I could not find.
.
I did not see where he complained of the slaughterious raids going on across the country. I did not see where he lamented the crass misgovernance of the country. He was not in the least perturbed that a country whose highest Law making body he leads has snatched the ugly trophy from India and now has world's poorest, wrechedest people. He does not care a fig about these disturbing realities.
.
He was lamentative and moved about one thing: He had industriously contributed in the making of the ruling party. For some inexplicable reasons, he came under the Jack boot of the APC government. In more than one occasion he had sued for peace and commonsense. The ruling party paid no heed and had continued to hammer down on him. He and some of his similarly disgruntled colleagues are seeking comfort else where -- like animals whose habitat was destroyed, they are migrating to a new place for accommodation and survival. He did not talk about Nigeria. It was one long and sympathy-seeking story of personal discomfort.
.
Strangly, we are unmindful of this --- we have remained bewitchedly unsuspecting, accepting, most lamentably, to be the battle-hounds for desperate power seekers and obscene gourmands for wealth.
.
When they cannot secure employment for their cronies and sycophants, they educate us on presidential nepotism. Police brutality becomes real only when any of them is touched. When they blatantly rig elections and sway voters, our democracy is waxing stronger, flourishing and under no conceivable threat. Death instantly begins to loom over our " nascent" democracy when they are surprised in their hollow chamber of corruption.
.
They shake hands across the divides. When it suits their interest they wear the traditional attire of just any ethnic group. They enter churches, mosques, shrines, name them, to worship the multifarious gods of the Nigerian people. But they tactfully arouse you to fight like dogs over such inane sentiments like tribe and religion. They can bear any cost to keep these crippling sentiments alive. With those alive and thriving, the masses are securely in their chains and harmless. They cannot unite in ultimate action to avenge their egregiously raped humanity. This is the nefarious formula with which we have been, for sixty years, manipulated by a political class that has been unvarying, ruthless and preposterously depraved.
.
Dear ordinary Nigerian, it is your funeral. You are confronted with many grotesque fingers thrusting forth from one leprous hand. I don't think you have seen any member of the fat-fed class in a fuel queue before . Have you ever seen a politician on the street, protesting non payment of salary? Unable to fully fuel his SUV? Have you ever spotted any of them in your pathetically equipped and quack-staffed hospitals? Was there any occasion you chanced upon any of their children in your outmoded and ultra-useless schools? Those would be the curiousest phenomena.
.
Stop celebrating defections. Stop calling feasts to mark the death of honour and principle in the public life of your country. Mourn instead. Look for sackcloth and ashes and in the attitude of a grief-stricken Jew, send lamentations to the heavens, for a country perilously suspended on the cliff of abyss.

Ebullience:
The Presidency has blamed recent happenings in the polity on President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki.

In an article Friday evening by Senator Babafemi Ojudu, the Political Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari in the Office of the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, the presidency insinuated that Saraki had been working with retired General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, the Nigeria Police, the Department of State Services (DSS) and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)

In the article, titled: “Fifth columnists in our recent history,” Ojudu alluded to some of the happenings during the military regime, which Buhari led, allegedly committed by some of the former General’s lieutenants, but which they ended up heaping on him as reasons for overthrowing him.

Ojudu wrote: “They hired a band of boys within the security to proceed to the house of the revered leader of the Yorubas, Chief Obafemi Awolowo.

“In the middle of the night the boys sacked the house, forced their way into his bedroom, ransacked everywhere and broke down his ward robe.

“They claimed they were sent by the then Head of State General Muhammadu Buhari to go look for some confidential documents acquired illegally by the Chief.

“The Yorubas and other sympathizer of Buhari were outraged. That was the end of the romance between the anti corruption duo of Buhari and General Tunde Idiagbon and the people.

“They didn’t stop at that they sent another band of marauders to Kaduna. Destination was the home of the Islamic cleric, Alhaji Gumi. Their goal: embarrass the much respected cleric and set the Muslims against the regime. They succeeded at this as well.

“A couple of months thereafter when they struck and overthrew the regime, these were listed among the offenses committed by General Buhari. The people having been deceived applauded them and Buhari adjudged high handed, brutal and a dictator.”

Ojudu said he was not shocked when Saraki visited Babangida after the invasion and blockade of the National Assembly by the operatives of the DSS, adding that his reading of the situation was that the President of the Senate went to brief Babangida on the development.

He wrote: “When a couple of days ago Senator Bukola Saraki visited the gap tooted General in Minna, I interpreted it as going to ask: ‘Oga I hope I am doing well?'”

The presidential aide further listed the invasion of the houses of some judges by the DSS in the middle of the night, the freezing of the accounts of the Akwa Ibom and Benue States Governments by the EFCC and the invasion of the National Assembly and Benue State House of Assembly by the DSS and police as activities carried out with the knowledge of Saraki.

He wrote: “From the shenanigans at the Benue House of Assembly, to the siege on National Assembly, the attack on judges home in the night, the so called barricade of the Senate President’s house, the laughable kidnap of Boy Dino and ‘his eleven hours on a tree’, the freezing of Benue and Akwa Ibom accounts all are scripted, produced and acted by Oloye (Saraki) Productions.”

Ojudu added: “Soon they may come up with a bullet riddled vehicle and claim that the Executive Producer has survived an assassination attempt. After all some of the Offa sharp shooters are still at large.

“May God save us from these power mongers.”

You know a president is doing the right thing for Nigeria when babangida is against him!! The very devil himself and one of the top 5 agents of the colonial powers to keep Nigeria in the dark indefinitely (Research and learn!!).

I keep saying the whole PDP resurgence and defections is nothing but old thieving politicians being frustrated from lack of free-sharing dollars, power and influence as experienced in the past. A quick look at all all the PDP controlled states across the federation and you'll realise very quickly that they have ABSOLUTELY nothing to offer! It's pathetic really

While he is not young, PMB is a breath of fresh air and an absolute upgrade from the ridiculousness we had in the past!

It's either buhari or sowore for 2019! With PDP, it's literally sliding back to hell!!

Second to the writer himself

Saraki isn’t the only first young man who aspires to become president of a country but his method is devilish.

Governor for 8 years in kwara, he left no good initiative on ground for the state to enjoy.
Senator for 8 years, nothing good to recount about him but all sort of allegations.

Fmr president Obama, had a lot initiative before and after he became president.

Emmanuel macron of France had held position before he became president and no single meaningful allegations against him.

George weah also has no single meaningful allegation before he became president despite being a senator before.

Everything about Saraki is controversial coupled with all sort of dangerous allegations and some people see him as their hero of democracy.
This man is too desperate and cunning. Such won’t deliver anything because a goat can’t give birth to a sheep no matter how closely related they are.

The blame game will never cease as long as APC is still in power. They blame past administrations for the present woes of the country even when they are making a lot of money from oil. Worse of it all, blaming security agencies who are directly under the country of the president. It is shameful, so u don't blame Saraki and others when Fulani men were killing innocent people in Plateau, Benue, Adamawa and other states? The task of sending Buhari back to Daura is for all of us. Never again will we be deceived

APC is a jihadist party.

Muslims see Buhari as an islamic jihadist leader and not as a Nigerian. Nigeria is a British gift to Islamic North and so the muslims are scared whenever they hear anything like " breakup" or "referendum". To them, an infidel cannot rule Nigeria in peace. No muslim can support a christian. The only christian they can support is one that hates his people. The one that does not have the interest of his people at heart.

The only non muslims who support APC are RCCG members and some Southern Christians who hate themselves and hate their people. The ones that cannot speak their language and the ones that are slaves at heart. RCCG is a confirmed Islamic church....corrupt to the core. Erastus Akingbola, former intercontinental bank head, was a crook and a pastor of the church. Mallam Usman Osunbade is a crook and a pastor of the church. Hajiya Tinubu is also a crook and a pastor of the church. Not to talk of other DSS snipers and other crooks in government.

Tou can never see a southern freedom fighter who supports APC. You cannot see a proponent of resource countrol or referendum that supports APC because the party is built up for terrorist parasistes and they need Niger delta money for their islamic jihad.

Yoruba muslims.all aboard. Not one yoruba muslim has the brain to oppose APC. Once I see the name, I know I can expect zero independent reasoning.

Nigerian muslims are terrorised by the following names/words

"FREEDOM", "REFERENDUM", "BIAFRA", NNAMDI KANU",
