The management of the University of Port-Harcourt invites applications from suitably qualified and interested candidates for admission into the Master of Science (M.Sc) and Post-Graduate Diploma (PGD) Programmes respectively in Peace and Conflict Studies, and Gender Studies of the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria.

MAIN OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMMES
The overall goal of the Peace and Conflict Studies Programme is to provide quality graduate level training and research to enable students analyze conflicts so as to understand the underlying causes and apply appropriate strategies to manage or resolve them. In a similar vein, the Gender Studies Programme focus on men and women issues to provide the required knowledge for achieving positive gender relations for effective collaboration in development.

DURATION OF THE PROGRAMMES
The minimum duration for M.Sc, or PGD is twelve (12) calendar months, while the maximum duration is twenty four (24) calendar months.
