The tension in the political atmosphere in Nigeria has become frightening as each day news of another possible quake in the NASS springs out of nowhere. The Leadership of the Senate being at war with the Presidency over its failure to allow the rule of law and the independence of the legislature has caused rocks to split and with the emergence of Comrade Adams Oshiomole as the new party leader of the ruling government, a man known for political rascality has even added pepper to an already pepperish situation.



As the APC continues to lick it’s wound over the defection of senators from the Party most notably Senate President Bukola Saraki to PDP , their desperation to see him unseated has caused even more uncivilisation in Nigeria’s democracy. Last Tuesday the Senate Building was barricaded by armed DSS operatives which caused a serious uproar in the country and led to the sacking of the DSS boss Lawal Daura. Daura’s sacking by the Vice President Prof Yemi Osibanjo has become a hot topic as it is still unknown who had lured him into his military approach on the NASS. Daura has since been detained and his home invaded which led to the discovery of a mind blowing 21 billion naira, ammunitions, and PVC’s.



However the ruling party in their usual manner have denied such reports after initially admitting to such scenario happening.
The DSS boss has also been accused of working for the Senate President an ideology being fuelled by the APC and one Nigerians feel is silly and senseless and a mere cover up of a failed coup last Tuesday.

What we deduced?

Since the Inception of the Buhari government Nigeria has witnessed some changes in the system of doing things. The first sign attesting to this was the unlawful detention of the Shiite leader El-zakzaky and the use of soldier to kill unarmed Shiite worshippers and act which was carried out by Chief of Army staff Burutai.Gen Tukur Burutai’s actions were proof of a government and President unwilling to accept a different religions ideology than his and a clear hatred for others who are not in tune with his own views on Islam. We have seen scores of Christians killed and the Islamist sect refusing to release Miss Leah Sharibu for refusing to denounce Christ. Buhari has many times revealed his love for Sharia law something that made many Christians worry in the build up to the last general election.



The next was the unlawful detention of IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu and also the failure to release colonel Sambo Dasuki. The ex- NSA boss had been held down contrary to the wishes of the court and this had made Nigerians really worried over the outright also disrespect towards the judiciary. The DSS also carried out a major assault on the Judges homes in 2016 another act of barbarism which Nigeria barely saw since the installation of democracy in 1999. However President Buhari has found a way to always give excuses or push blames or even act unaware in such situations saying the country needs prayers and things like that. The President had also set out on a vindictive approach toward the PDP and has used the likes of Ibrahim Magu, EFCC boss to unfairly torture his perceived political opponents and cause a tension in the political climate of the country. Homes were invaded unlawfully and dententions too were made time after time.
And by the looks of what has happened in the last three years the acts seem to be synonymous with Buhari. The Buhari regime have taken military approach in doing almost everything since coming in 2015. While the likes of Daura may be seen as the rascal. Behind every rascal who is not the supreme authority there is a directive of rascality given that makes the rascal carry out his rascality. What we have seen it in Nigeria that most politicians are rascals because they empower thugs who carry out their dirty deeds just to retain their offices but the extent of rascality of the thugs seems to reflect that of his sponsor. That is to say the more barbaric a politician is, the more barbaric his thugs are and Daura and Magu and every other barbaric office holder is doing what he has been told to do based on the instruction from above. When Daura was asked who ordered him to raid, he purportedly told ” order from above ” who is the above? The ex- DSS boss has bee guilty of
aggressive and barbaric approach and my question is all these years he has been in the law enforcement agencies how come he never had any clear case of rascality? My point is that while Daura and Magu and Oshiomole may be rascals in a little way but the influence of the current authority is perhaps making a more evident rascality in them.



Why was John Onyegun relieved of his office as the Party Chairman it was perhaps the Presidency after the defection or would I say the formation of the R- APC has seen Onyegun as unfit to do their bidding given his lack of rascality as his more gentlemanly way of doing things. Chief Onyegun was relieved of his duty because he lacked the type of aggressive behavior of Lawal Daura, Gen Burutai, Ibrahim Magu and co. He was considered a week link in the President’s wish for a return to office in 2019 and so he paid the price. The selection of Adams Oshiomole as Party Chairman is not a coincidence, Oshiomole being a notable corrupt, Buhari-like man who could aggressively usurp laws and orders to get what he wants. Adams Oshiomole was picked because he is a usurper like Daura, like Burutai, like Magu and the rest of the barbaric office holders in the present government.

President Buhari would always want to pull a wool over Nigerians as a democrat. He deceitfully honored the Late M. K. O.Abiola to gain Western Nigeria sympathy, he rubbished the image of his country overseas just for his own ego sake, every Nigerian is corrupt apart from Buhari, it has always been his way. His forceful, self centered way of getting what he wants. Youths are lazy, PDP is corrupt, all these to claim he is the most morally neat Nigerian. It is Buhari’s way to hide behind a false image of his morals, use others for his dirty work and look clean just to save his face. The President and his cabal in truth may have ordered the invasion of the NASS, kept the VP in the loop and then allowed him fire the VP to save their face. Oshiomole’s current boastful words indicated that Buhari is right behind him. His boast of removing the Senate President by all means is the voice of Oshiomole but the words of President Buhari. The President should stop his attitude of hear no evil in public and then dirty fighting wearing the masks of his kind.
