Before I comment I want to state clearly that I want Buhari out of office by 2019 by fire by force. Then on the topic I think the OP was mischievous. Even wikipedia still recognises Nigeria as Africa's largest economy. That your like only took me to an unofficial blog. I hope you are not working for opposition. Though anything to oust Buhari is a welcome idea.

I don't consider google a credible source.

However, official World Bank data in 2016 shows (SOURCE: World Bank: https://data.worldbank.org/?locations=EG-NG);

Nigeria's GDP at $404.6 billion dollars
Egypt's GDP at $332.9 billion dollars

We know Nigeria has had a recession from 2016 until 1st quarter of 2018 when we grew at 0.5%, and Egypt has grown by average of above 4% per year since 2016.

It is quite possible they have surpassed us as the CIA official data tends to portray.

In a few months, we shall know the truth where the numbers actually stand in 2018.

I don't even think Nigerians understand how bad our economy has become.

The government is still lying to Nigerians to hide the terrible things they have been doing to our economy.

It is only external data keeping organizations that have helped us to see all the evil things that are going on in our economy.
