CRACKS IN APC AS OSHIOMOLE, APC SENATORS DISAGREE ON SARAKI's REMOVAL

There are indications that the battle to remove the Senate President Abubakar Bukola Saraki may be causing rift between the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomole and APC senators.

In a meeting held yesterday at sharaton hotel, Abuja, where Senator Shehu Sani was reportedly given the responsibility to Woo Senators With ₦100Millon each for the removal of the Senate president. Out of the 42 Senator who were present at the meeting, only 29 members ready for the removal while the rest didn't say "Yes" nor "No". Senator Akpabio was silent all through the meeting and when asked for his own opinion, he was quoted saying "I have nothing to say at the moment"

It was gathered by The Punch that Adams Oshiomole took those senator loyal to him to his house in Aso-Drive for another round of meeting where Senator Magnus Abe was dined access into the meeting. Oshiomole believed the that Senator was in the meeting as a spy to saraki and indirectly working for him.

A competent source close to the house said: “I don’t see anything changing between now and next year June. Saraki will remain in the office till his tenure expired."

This new development is said to be posing a serious threat to the harmony that exists in the party and among the APC senators.
