I have said it before and will say it again that the mainstream media is clearly biased against the current president, his govt, region, religion and tribe.

This is not too hard to understand considering the ownership and control of these media houses; majority being in the hands of Christian southerners who happened also to be PDP chieftains: Channels (Tony Momoh); AIT (Raymond Dokpesi) Silverbird (Ben Bruce) - the same also goes for almost all the print and social media.

Its no wonder that they are always misquoting the president or deliberately misinterpreting his speeches/statements and therefore negatively misinforming the general public.

We all saw how they milked stories like those of the alleged kidnapping and forceful conversion of young Christian girls; Boko Haram; and lately, Killer Fulani Herdsmen - using heavy one-sided coverage and clearly tele-guiding invited guests/experts with biased loaded questions in order to lead them to respond in line with their predetermined biased narrative.

They continue to unprofessionally ascribe all killings to SUSPECTED Fulani herdsmen without any further effort to investigate the true identities of the killers and the reasons for such killings (because there are two sides to any story) as expected in real journalism.

The consequences of their actions has resulted in the unfair stigmatisation of a tribe (Fulani) and profession (cattle herding) as marauding killers attendant with further division of Nigerians along tribal and religious lines - what a shame.
