That is obvious definitely.

SARAKI IS GONE!
Analyzing his body language for the past few days, We see a man who is giving life a final push for survival.
Akpabio's decamping is one of the strongest blows that have destroyed the foundation he has been standing on.
Akpabio is very rich, and he is a political principality that no A list politician has summoned the courage to criticize or mock his defection.
Every senator is negotiating for 2019, there is a limit they can follow Saraki. They won't follow Saraki at the expense of their 2019 interests.
He doesn't trust the Senators in his camp again, he is now running from Minna to Abeokuta, this move is a move of desperation and drowning man. If he is in charge, he won't make such moves within days.

Dogara is finding it difficult to decamp, because it is near impossibility for him to fly PDP in Bauchi and win his constituency, with the current sentiments on ground.
You would be surprised that many PDP Senators are negotiating with APC in secrets.
Saraki doesn't have the support of the power that be, his camp has been compromised by their 2019 selfish interests.
The INEC budget is putting him under pressure to reconvene, if not his foes are fast convincing Nigerians that he is the one on their way of progress.
With what happened to DG DSS, nobody in government would want to associate with him in secret again, he has lost a big grip.
He has lost every negotiating tool for soft landing. With or without him, the power that be can hijack the clerk to reconvene using INEC budget passage as excuse, to flush him out.
We see the end of Saraki, not just at the Senate, but also in Kwara.
He is really in a tight corner!

For the other ones, they are nothing but BUNCH of losers.
Sai Baba.
Sai Buhari.
GOD BLESS OUR PRESIDENT.

I saw some PDP fan share his thoughts on things Saraki revealed when declaring his interest to run for president, and one of the things he claimed Saraki revealed was A BRANCH OF GOVERNMENT SHUTTING DOWN ANOTHER BRANCH OF GOVERNMENT.

That left me scratching my head as to who this "branch of government" that shut down another is. I mean, shouldnt that be Saraki himself?

Saraki single-handedly shut down the Senate and has decided to hold the entire nation to ransom all for his selfish interest.

The supplementary budget is there unattended to. That of INEC is yet to be considered. These things have direct impact on our socioeconomic well-being and national security respectively. If elections are not conducted due to lack of funds, the same Saraki fanboys who've been egging him on in this blatant show of shame would be the first to accuse APC and Buhari of unwillingness to promote and safeguard democratic processes.

Let those overfed men maintain their "vigil" at the gates of the NASS and stay action on its closure. Maybe in the end, na ordinary Nigerians go show them who dem papa be.

Sorry please I Don, t understand. Is the election running for 30 days?

jydeskill1:

INEC SECURITY BUDGET OF 6bn

300,000 security personnel.
30 days election period.
6 billion budget.

6, 000, 000, 000/300, 000=20, 000

That's 20k per security personnel

20k divided by 30 days
That's N660 per day.

This is poor pay if you ask me, but because we're used to propaganda we usually ignore the maths..."--Efe Okopsio.

Not everything is politics.

For those who have been questioning the budget, can we know if there was provision for security welfare in the previous elections' expenses? To a great extent, this will take the welfare of police personnel away from local politicians and probably reduce the tendencies for compromise.

Before you raise air or compare, please always endeavor to get details.

Yes that's true, most of us just want to know why inec needs N6bn to feed policemen for two days election, when the total number of NPF is less than 500k officers, this means each officer would feed with 12k each from the igp to the rank and file, we also want to know what kind of animals those police need N350m to feed, are they the same police dogs and horses that we rarely see?
We also want to know why they quickly wanted the budget passed when they all know the nass was going on annual recess

which one is tribal affiliation here ,for your information I am not a Muslim but straight christian .
The day the senate President called for reconvening on inec budget issue what did we have? DSS and police invading the senate and making impeaching saraki their agenda.

Will the London and Theresa may whom you quoted there have carried out such barbarity?

Just two days ago the senate was to reconvene o discuss the issue but most of the Muslim senators couldn't attend due to the hajj program in mecca.
When responding to peoples position do that with an unbiased mind and stop exhibiting ignorance .
Existing law does not say the Senate should wait for those who might have gone for Hajji or Jerusalem before the Senate could be opened. As long as a Quorum could be formed in time of National urgent issues, the Senate is allowed to re opened. Theresa May and David Cameron were both on Christmas holidays when they urgently called off the holidays yrs back to attend to National issues in UK. Stop languishing in ignorance. The Senators are laughing to the banks why practically they are doing nothing to justify their huge salary and allowances. December is around the corner, another long recess.

It is glaring that APC is playing politics with National Assembly resumption and just using the
INEC budget as their card.

But with all this propaganda everywhere APC will surely lose the Presidency come 2019.

Election duty in the police act is stipulated as special duty, as oppose to the 30 days you used in your calculations, special duty allowance would be paid to you only when you are redeployed, and days of active service and the day you report to another command for such duty is what you get paid for. In this case I doubt any redeployment would be nessary as election are nationwide, and general election is 2 days, state house and others are conducted for 2 days
