Commissioner for Finance of Gombe State, Alhaji Hassan Muhammadu stated, on Monday, that there was no compelling reason to press the frenzy catch concerning the state's economy, which he depicted as hearty and economical.

Muhammadu, who gave this confirmation while talking with newsmen in Gombe, said there was nothing to freeze about in spite of the small Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) of the state.

As indicated by him, the money related reasonability of the state government has made the state feasible, as it has not been recorded among the 27 expresses that can't pay their laborers' compensations.

The chief said the obligation position of the state was accessible to individuals from the general population, and that the bonds got to for framework advancement were likewise being overhauled.

"Our IGR isn't as colossal as those of Lagos, Kano, and Ogun, however, the economy of the state is productively being overseen by our Governor, Ibrahim Dankwambo.

"Our economy is exceptionally powerful, reasonable and there is no reason to worry.

"The budgetary judiciousness of the state government, and also the monetary group, is the real device for the financial achievement of our state. We have possessed the capacity to obstruct all spillages," said Muhammadu.

He said the state was not recorded among the 27 expresses that couldn't pay rates as the state government had made installment of pay rates a need.
