I am 3D artist hoping to one day cut fully into Nollywood. With this thread i will br posting my experiences and skill sets with vairous fields of CGI.

I am primarily a Blender3D user but also versatile with several other softwares.

Let me list them viz

Zbrush - for character sculpt
Blackmagic fusion - for photogammetry and compositing.
Cinema4d : for rendering
Miarmy : for simulating crowds and boid behaviour.

When you watch deafpool and try to fix them into your naija environment...

I used Cinema4d and maya for the Rendering.
Zbrush for the sculpting

And syntheyes for tracking them into the compound. Wish i can show the animation but this forum is limiting

ratGuy...this one was intended to crawl on my desk, wonder at the strangeness of my keyboards and then crawl unto my left hand....

Alright, i am getting close.

Like i said, i am reusing an old model. Here Yusuf will caress the dragon and the animal should purr like all pets are wont to do.

The aim of this project is strictly Geometry tracking and not just planar.

Yusuf is like my willing accomplice , a general factotum of sorts to me. He acted a whole lot of hopeless scenes for this shot in full glare of passersby and never skipped a bit. That niggur is a born actor.

I told you guys that a point the tracking became hectic, i will have to thank another Guy by name Bira who stepped in , modified some python scripts, retracked the whole scene and them fixed every mis calculation/camera errors ( we shot with a Nokia, this time around). I owe them.

Now, i am saddled with the shader networks, rigging, animation and the scans. Hopefully before Monday, this project is done.

With more exposure and relentless pushing of my boundaries, i believe i shall improve with the nitties of rotoscoping and comp
