Who should win the 2018 FIFA Men's Best Player and the 2018 Ballon D'or? Cristiano Ronaldo? Lionel Messi? Antoinne Griezmann? or Luka Modric?

The past 10 awards have been shared by the two football geniuses, Real Madrid/Juventus' Cristiano Ronaldo and Barcelona's Lionel Messi. However, ever since the award was separated in 2016, Cristiano Ronaldo has gone on to win the award twice after having stellar seasons with Real Madrid in 2016 and 2017 which saw them win the UEFA Champions League back-to-back, FIFA club World Cup and UEFA Super Cup in that time.

Lionel Messi however, won the award last in 2015 after Barcelona's famous record breaking treble winning season under Luis Enrique before an agreement was reached between France Football, the organizers of the Ballon D'or and FIFA to end the partnership on the nomenclature of the Prestigious Individual award football has to offer.

Nevertheless, in 2018, many fans have backed Cristiano Ronaldo to win the award after winning a record setting third consecutive UEFA Champions League title with Real Madrid. But, recently, the award, irrespective of its voting system has boiled down to popularity contest and sometimes, the total number of trophies won. I'm not trying to shove my opinion down anybody's throat but indulge me let's take a quick preview on the progress of the strong contenders for the award in the last 1-Calendar year.
