In saner clymes, sge would first make a trip to Juvenile correctional homes before attaining the aim of 18, then she would be tried and sent to jail.

She's can't be tried for an offence she committed when she was a minor. Look at her, she's obviously a first time offender. And she's remorseful. All those count before the law.

rehab school? Remand home. Prison for minors. In US, prisons are called correctional homes. Same dept handles correctional homes for minors and for adults
