You just acquired that android phone you have always dreamed of and you are enjoying a sense of fulfillment just then the thought of transferring all the data from your old device to your brand new device stares you in the face. You begin to question if all your data can be transfered accurately. yes this is very possible, there are several ways this can be achieved but in my own opinion there's this tiny android app that handles it like a pro and its absolutely free. In some few concise steps I will explain how this can be achieved:

Step 1: install the android app CLONEIT from play store or alternatively type in "CLONEIT APK" (without the quotes) on your google search and look for any of the links and download the file install it on both devices. If you are downloading it via google search then you would need to do the following on both devices else you wont be able to install the app. Go to settings ---Lock screen and Security---Unknown sources (enable this option).
After installing the app on both devices then we proceed to;

Step 2: Keep both devices side by side. Open CLONEIT , on the new device click on "Receiver" and on the old device click on "Sender"

Step 3: Wait a little while and your new device will detect the sending device. Now click on the sending device Icon on the new device screen

Step 4: Your old device will receive a connection request, please click OK to establish a connection between both devices.

Step 5: On your new device select all the Data you want to be transfered

Step 6: After selecting all the data you want , then Click Start on your new device to begin the importation process

Step 7: CLONEIT will require you to set it as your default SMS app, please click OK later we will change that.

Step 8: Wait for the process to complete

Step 9: On completion, don't forget to change default SMS app to Messages (settings--applications---default applications---Messages---select Messages.
