Your political analysis is incorrect and riddled with bias. Politics its about collaboration. Nobody gives u power because u are young but on d basis of participation. What Saraki is doing has nothing to do with the senators in his camp. So many other politicians are doing same secretly or openly.
You talk of Akpabio and his largesse. Pls go to the street of Uyo and talk to ten persons about Buhari and u get their impressions. With money or no money, Akpabio can't deliver Akwa Ibom for APC just like Amaechi can't do same in Rivers. If u talk of money, Saraki was born into wealth and uses this to acquire influence. He controls proceedings in kwara and u know Kwara politics has a foothold on kogites and subsequently Benue.
Dogara controls his constituency. From pankshin which is part of plateau state down to Dass in Bauchi state, his influence is obvious. You are making reference to the last bye election that was conducted but Dogara was not the candidate. Please if u are far from here, ask anybody that lives in Bogoro, Tafawa Balewa and Dass and u know better. If Dogara choses to go back to house of Representatives he will succeed and succeed very well.
I expect you to talk about APC mending their differecences in North central Nigeria( Benue, Plateau, kwara and Kogi axis). Yes, Buhari has the largest political influence in Nigeria now but the goodwill is fast eroding. The earlier APC members unite within this enclave d better for them.

post=70408753:
SARAKI IS GONE!

Analyzing his body language for the past few days, we see a man who is giving life a final push for survival.
Akpabio's decamping is one of the strongest blows that have destroyed the foundation he has been standing on.
Akpabio is very rich, and he is a political principality that no A list politician has summoned the courage to criticize or mock his defection.
Every senator is negotiating for 2019, there is a limit they can follow Saraki. They won't follow Saraki at the expense of their 2019 interests.
He doesn't trust the Senators in his camp again, he is now running from Minna to Abeokuta and now to Chief Clark, this move is a move of desperation and drowning man. If he is in charge, he won't make such moves within days.
Dogara is finding it difficult to decamp, because it is near impossibility for him to fly PDP in Bauchi and win his constituency, with the current sentiments on ground.
You would be surprised that many PDP Senators are negotiating with APC in secrets.
Saraki doesn't have the support of the power that be, his camp has been compromised by their 2019 selfish interests.
The INEC budget is putting him under pressure to reconvene, if not his foes are fast convincing Nigerians that he is the one on their way of progress.
With what happened to DG DSS, nobody in government would want to associate with him in secret again, he has lost a big grip.
He has lost every negotiating tool for soft landing. With or without him, the power that be can hijack the clerk to reconvene using INEC budget passage as excuse, to flush him out.
We see the end of Saraki, not just at the Senate, but also in Kwara.
He is really in a tight corner!

You spent most of your time here on nairaland, jumping from one thread to another, spilling your fatuous comments all over. There's no perfect way to describe joblessness than this. Do you even have time for your barbecue business?

If Saraki like he should transverse the length and breadth of this world, he's going nowhere.
His desperate consultation is a sign of a man who's near retirement trying hard to correct his mess and see whether he can hang on.

In all Saraki is an overrated politician with an over bloated ego. His political influence is not beyond Kwara state at best. Even among the North Central politicians he's not within the clout of those who has a regional/geopolitical appeal or influence.

It's a different ball game to step into the main ring of elections seeking the people's vote to delegate election that involves manuervering and manipulations.

No bro his consultations are not for the mere Senate President seat. You can impeach him once you have the numbers.

Saraki is making inroads for something bigger. If you know, you know. wink

Dead on Arrival. What ever the bigger things. He will even be luck to get back to the Senate. Impeach the president? Even with a weak unpopular president, it will takes months. Not to talk of a Buhari. Presidential ambition? if he wins PDP ticket, he will be the easiest to be decimated during campaign. How is he going to campaign in the north with his anti-PMB stance? Like I said he will be very lucky to return to the Senate.

How do you explain the fact that Dogara lost his LG to PDP in 2015? His LG is the smallest of the 3 in the federal constituency and hence may make his return to the House tough. If he decamps, it will be even tougher.

If Saraki likes let him consult the Oracle or amadioha. He doesn't stand a chance against PMB. I am not a fan of APC though. PDP will lose Presidential election against PMB by a whooping margin even if they field Saraki,Kwankwaso and Atiku in one ticket.

Your meaningless rant depicts you as a person who is at war with common sense.

If Saraki is desperate, what would you call Buhari? An old and miserable man who sought the presidency three good times and failed, and eventually sought power again and got it in his 70s, and now want another term to rule into his 80s even though he is clearly senile and has nothing to offer.

70s as we are made to believe.. I hear his younger sister is well over 85.

As regards desperation if you get close to any politician, most of them are desperate... even your VP makes desperate attempts to get notices when Sai Baba goes on his frequent trips...an obvious attempt to position himself as a smart man that we all know he truly is

I don't know why most have been tagging the movement of Saraki as been desperate. What desperation please?
If he's not desperate of power, should he be desperate of being a nonentity?

Dogara & Tambuwal rode on Buhari - Sai Baba phenomenon in the North to be in their present positions. Senator Wamakko also contributed to Tambuwal victory. In 2015, Dogara lost his LG to PDP, the remaining two LGs that made up the Federal constituency only voted for Sai Baba. He is not coming back again.

Saraki has no value. He is running from Minna to Abeokuta to Pa Clark to deceive Senators that he has the support of these people against Buhari. It is only in Ilorin town & IBO land that he has support. He is not going there for any presidency ambition. He is a day dreamer. The core North & South West is a no go area for him. In Benue, Plateau & Taraba he is unpopular and can only get support because of PDP & not his individual acceptability. The electoral fraud that produced him as the Senate President will work against him in some areas. His candidacy is dead on arrival.

First, Oshiomole attitude no get joy, even him face sef no get joy. Saraki knows this, unlike the pliable Oyegun. You go run until those thin legs cave in. The earlier you realised your time is up, the better for you. Forget all the e-noise these little nothings make here. Dem no reash! ! grin
It's funny how you guys think Saraki's visits are because of the senate presidency position or Oshiomole's noise. You should know that 2019 election has commenced, and with that comes lots of consultations, especially owing to Saraki's presidential ambition.
