As you know, Instagram Client ID and Client Secret Key are use in Instagram Login Applications, such as some Prestashop social login modules we are developing, that allows visitors to access websites using their Instagram accounts.

So, i want to share with you a basic tutorial for beginners to get Instagram Client Id & Secret Key.

Step I - Visit Instagram Developer Network
Access this address https://www.instagram.com/developer/register



Login as an Instagram user, or register a new account to proceed. It's very easy.

Step II - Signup as a developer
Fill these fields in seconds to signup as a developer



Ok, it's time to build your Instagram Application to connect the third-party module using Instagram API.

Step III - Register to get Client Id and Client Secret Key
Click on Register your application



Fill all fields in the form that asks for:

Application Name: Name of the application. In my case, it should be "Prestashop Social login".
Description: Write a short description of your application.
Website URL: Full URL. For example: https:// yoursite.com. You should have a SSL certificate for your site. SSL is a new stardard for website ranking.
Valid redirect URLs: have to be https:// yoursite.com/modules/my-social-login-module/instagram

Confirm all information, click on Register button.
