What are you talking about?

1. When a person assembles parts based on his own design but uses someone else's parts = design

2. When the person owns neither the design = assemble

3. When he owns both the design and the components = create

The word "build" is extremely broad and can be used as a synonym to all three.

Good one. However there are lots of issues that are yet to be addressed.

1. How many batteries are used to power the keke?
2. How long does the batteries last?
3. How will the batteries be charged?
4. For how long will it take for the batteries to be fully charged?

This issues need to be addressed before it can become commercially viable.

Oga, even ford, Chevrolet and Mercedes companies have suppliers in China and India. These suppliers supply them components that are assembled in honk kong, Europe and US. Still, we agree that these cars are built in the US and Europe.

According to World Bank, where ever a product undergoes a substantial transformation, that country is said to be it's country of origin. This means, its built in that country.

The keke in this picture underwent a substantial transformation in Nigeria, so do the maths.

Build is just right.
Most of the care manufacturers even in America don't manufacture everything themselves, some don't even manufacture any parts. They just buy from companies that make the parts in their names.

If i buy blocks, rods, doors, gates, roofing sheets, electric wires etc; to build my house, will i be wrong to say i built my house?

I do custom build desktop cumputers, I buy all the hardawres and assembly them, can I not say that I buld the computer?
Even most of the giant computer manufacturers don't make everything in the computer by themselves.
