The sixteen female members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) who were arraigned earlier today at the Magistrate court in Owerri, Imo state, discharged unconditionally. Their release sparked celebration among fellow pro-Biafran supporters.

The IPOB women were arrested and remanded in custody for demanding to know the whereabouts of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.

The women, who protested on the streets of Owerri last Friday before they were arrested and arraigned in court on Monday, also asked the Federal Government to conduct a referendum for the creation of the Independent State of Biafra.

They threatened that the 2019 general elections would not hold if the referendum was not conducted.

They committed no crime in the first place. One thing I am sure about this Govt they don't hire professionals, from law to finance to agriculture to employment to sports to Information and communication. All positions are hand picked in these classes "sec schl classmate to President", "elder in service "," close political allies". One would think these offices are now titles tongue. That's the reason why Nigeria has been on a bumpy ride, there is no recession anywer we jst in bad hands.

Hope they have learnt their lessons now which is "Don't join, support or in any way associate with a terrorist group because you would be deemed as an accomplice".
If they had protested for the whereabout of Nnamdi Kanu and they didn't display any IPOB insignia, their story would've been different.
Lucky dem sha.

The terrorist govt of buhari can't stop the whirlwind sweeping across igboland.. The determination to set free is real.. No Pharoah or one hell of a stark illiterate from daura can stop it.

IPOB thought they could restrategize by using women to carry out "illegal" protest only for Rochas to show them he doesn't care about their gender and is well ahead of the mind game. grin

Can't someone please shed light on this please...Cause I think its insane... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I hope that they have learned their lesson, stay away from IPOB and it's terrorist activities or next time be prepared to go to jail for life as the befitting punishment for treason
