Butterflyle0:I know revenue is not solely from oil, The FG has other source of revenue. If you claim the government is doing very well with revenue generation, how about expenditures? |

Colourich: The oil revenue is not for the FG alone now? The FG takes only about half, the states and LG has to take their own share as well. |
Re: FG To Submit 2019 Budget In September by Butterflyle0: 9:13am On Aug 24, 2018 |
Colourich: Expenditures so far have been credible and well utilized since a bulk of it has gone into unpaid contracts and other debts left for them by the previous government who had to borrow to pay salaries despite their oil price windfall. Plus who awarded contracts without financing them despite same oil price windfall. Also, States are entitled to a portion form this same oil revenue as well . As far as I am concerned, expenditure has been very good |

agwom: Even if the FG submits the 2019 Budget on the 1st January 2018,there is no guarantee that the Legislature will pass it in good time, especially when their "input such as constituency projects and other pad-ables are not in there yet". |

Some wailers and haters will have a different view of this forgetting that government administration will still be going on irrespective of election program. More so it is still Buhari/Oshibajo come 2019. |

Upon all the noise on customs reform, they couldn't even met 30% of their target. For NNPC, subsidy scam would not even allow those one to declare profit. So FIRS could just met 60% despite the claim that we have exited recession. All the 1.6 trillion spent on capital projects is actually what when converted to dollar rate after devaluation of the naira by this administration. It's not even up to what the past administration spent on projects. Waiting for rebuttal from PMB diehard fans. |

The present Government is trying so much to make sure that the fiscal budget returns to January to December, yet The NASS and its supposed leaders will undermined this effort and Nigeria people will not see a reason to questioned this NASS leaders, rather they will go back and start hail the Sarakis and Ekweremadu for a job well done... |

Butterflyle0:There is also oil windfall for this regime, in short a whole lot of oil windfall and also income windfall from recovered loots, also about the debts both internal and external, they could have used the recovers loots to finance these debts instead of revenue generated from oil. Rather they decided to share the money to "poor" people. The FG is not spending money rightly. |
Re: FG To Submit 2019 Budget In September by Butterflyle0: 1:46pm On Aug 24, 2018 |
Colourich: There was an agreement entered into prior to the release of this money and that was that it should be given to the poor. The FG is simply honouring that agreement as a show of goodwill in order to encourage the release of more recovered looted funds. FG is towing the path of honour. Which is very good. |
