Udu Local Government Council Political office holders and the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State have again promised to support Delta State Governor Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa's re-election come 2019. The Udu Political gladiators made this known today 23/08/18 at Otor-Udu headquarters of Udu Local Government Area of Delta State when the Executive Chairman of Udu Local Government Council Hon.Chief Jite Brown (JP), Councillors and political appointees hosted the Udu PDP Chairman Prince Sam Ughujovwovwo PDP and his Executive.

Speaking at Otor-Udu, the Udu Council Boss Hon. Chief Jite Brown (JP) revealed that the hosting was a way to say thank you to the Udu PDP's Chairman and his Executive for their pivotal roles during and after the January 6th 2018 Local Government Elections, stressing that party is supreme. He further stated that all political office holders in Udu Local Government Council will give their neccessary supports to the party inorder to make the party stronger to wining subsequent elections.

On his part, Chairman of PDP in Udu Local Government Prince Sam Ughujovwho who lauded the Council Chairman, Councillors and political appointees for hosting him and his team, charged all PDP members in Udu to work in oneness so as to change the narratives of Udu Local Government in the forthcoming 2019 elections. Ughujovwovwo urged all to support any candidate that emerges from the forthcoming Primary Elections in Udu.

Also speaking, the Vice Chairman of PDP in Udu Hon. David Siloko who confessed that this is the first time for the Executive, Legislative Arms including political appointees to host Udu PDP Chairman and his Executive, equally urged all to work in synergy so as to be victorious in the next year's elections.

Others who spoke including Udu Local Government Vice Chairman Hon. Justice Iyasere, Rt.Hon Goru Karo Leader Udu Legislative Arm thanked Prince Sam Ughujovwovwo and other PDP Faithful for working assiduously for their emergence at the Council Polls. At the end of the meeting a vote of confidence was passed on Delta State Governor Dr.Ifeanyi Okowa for his developmental strides in Udu Local Government and Delta State in general.

Hon. David Siloko Vice Chairman PDP Udu Local Government Council, Hon. King Onawhare Secretary PDP Udu, Hon. Notoma Edwin Financial Secretary PDP Udu, Hon. Lawson Oghoifo Publicity Secretary PDP Udu, Mr. Olori Aggreh Youth Leader Udu PDP, Hon Ernest Mereh Chairman Udu Local Government Health Authority, Hon Chief Love Okoro among others.
