The Third Mainland Bridge has been closed to traffic in the midnight of Thursday, August 23 and will be opened at midnight of Sunday, August 26, 2018. However, the State Sector Commander of FRSC, Hyginus Omeje and the Chief Executive Officer of LASTMA, Chris Olakpe have listed the alternative routes.
