When will Nigeria grow They said the reason the election should cost 242 billion dollars is because of exchange rate But why does Nigeria import ballot papers and voting bins in a country where IVM assembles cars and Dangote processes cements ? 1 Like |

krendo: I am not sure the voting bags will be imported. The ballot papers can't be printed in Nigeria due to security reasons and lack of capacity on the part of our minting company. We have always been printing our ballot papers from abroad since 1999 so, this should not be an issue. The proposed INEC budget is also not 242 billion dollars. |

seunmsg: Absolute rubbish That country where you will print your ballot paper do they come to you to print their own This is simply an excuse to loot the treasury There is no reason why we can not print ballot papers in Nigeria. If we are a serious Nation we will realise that ballot papers are not as sensitive as we think! We thumb print at voting units. When INEC wants to get serious they will realise that ballot box snatching and stuffing is nonsense when people actually thumb print and results are announced at the polling units 1 Like |

It is an issue that we keep printing ballot papers abroad since 1999 because that shows we are not making progress |
