Against the backdrop of the arrest of over one hundred suspected IPOB women who recently engaged on peaceful demonstration along the streets of Owerri, Imo State.

A former deputy director of Central bank of Nigeria and a frontline Presidential Aspirant under the platform of the Young Progressives Party, Prof. Kingsely Moghalu has visited the Owerri Prisons and called for the immediate and unconditional release of the women.

Speaking with journalist Prof. Moghalu said “I am here to take a stand for civil liberty, this arrest is gross abuse of fundamental rights and it is time we all as Nigerians should rise up and take a stand”
He continued, “This arrest is a gross abuse of fundamental human rights and it is time we all as Nigerian should rise up and take a stand”.
“Nigeria is not an animal farm where some animals are more equal than the others all the citizens of Nigeria has the right to free expression, freedom of movement and assembly; They should not be treated as if they are slaves, simply because somebody somewhere does not like what they are saying”.

The YPP Presidential Aspirant, Attributed the challenges and woe been faced in the country today to security agencies.
“Come to think it “how many times have you heard of security agencies reacting as quickly and as aggressive to defend Nigerians from bandits in Zamfara, Herdsmen in Benue, Kidnappers and armed robbers in the Southern region.

Mr Oga, no dey worry your head for Nigeria matter. Nigerians are not complaining... They actually love it when bokoharam is killing them, they're comfortable when herdsmen slaughter them in their farms, they're also happy when SARS harras them till they die. Most importantly Nigerians are more than happy to continue with this system of government.
