Gov. Okowa's Developmental Foresight Is Legendary; A Focus On Delta State by HenryUbus12345(m): 1:59am On Aug 25, 2018
Patriot Dantes Odogwu.

The SMART Governor assumed office with a clear cut vision to transform Asaba, the State Capital to the status of a modern city.

On assumption of office, one of the first few bills that he sponsored was the creation of Delta State Capital City Development Authority (DSCCDA), with the appointment of Chief Clement Ofuani as the pioneer Director-General.

The appointment of Chief Ofuani will best be described as "putting a square peg in a square hole". Within the few years of pioneering the Agency, diverse projects along the length and breadth of Asaba have been numbered.

True to the vision of His Excellency, the Agency has made remarkable impact with the delivery of critical infrastructure, especially road network, to ease transportation and business activities within Asaba and environs.

A tour of project sites by the SSA to the Governor on New Media, Patriot Dantes Odogwu on Friday July 27, revealed that quite a lot has been achieved by this agency which needs to be chronicled for an unbiased assessment by Deltans.

The success story is indeed a demonstration of foresight, rare leadership acumen and pragmatic disposition to holistic development.
