Dance hall music icon, Timaya cast doubt on the success of sustaining marriages in this generation. The singer advised a group of friends, which includes Rudeboy and Phyno, to focus on fathering children and forget about the idea of marriage. Timaya seems to have reported what he told his mother about marriage, to his friends. He said, “(I told her) just born pikin, pikin go grow. Mummy this marriage thing no dey work”, which made his friends burst into laughter. The scene was captured in a video that was shared on Instagram by Phyno.
