You are right. I felt insulted as a Nigerian. But we have to be sincere with ourselves and ask how do we get to this situation?
We should not allow sentiment and ethnicity to blind our sense of reasoning. The obvious truth is that PMB lacks capacity to govern a complex country like Nigeria. He shy away from debates and intellectual discussions.
Unlike other former heads of state, he failed to develop himself. You cannot trace any book or newspaper article written to him. Twenty five years after leaving government,he is not known to have successfully run any business.
His deficiencies would not have been so obvious if he had not sorrounded himself with aides who are sabotaging and undermining his administration.
The most frustrating fact is that he is fast losing the aura of integrity. How do you explain is deafening silence to obvious corruption by some members of his cabinet.
