Since when did travelling become an Achievement? The Nigerian mentality of the few who are hardly above the Poverty line and start saying they owns the world. grin

I was having drinks with some Danish students at a youth hostel called Clink in Kings Cross, London. The building was originally a courthouse and most of the features have been left intact.

The lodgings are crap but it's a great place to meet people as they have a bar/club in the basement and is open 24 hours.

Great for travelling student groups as well as people on a tight budget who dont mind a little more than just a bunk bed in a shared room.

Firstly, there is no such language as Carlifonia. . .maybe you meant to say I laugh the Carlifonian way!

Secondly, nobody ever said travelling was an achievement. I only sought to share with other members my most recent travel experiences and invite them to join me as I chronicle my next trip.

You sound like . . .erm I'll leave it there

Ah you get ahead of your self. . .I haven't yet said where I will be staying in London I will reveal that later. That picture was from my trip in February . I don't really bother going to Trafalgar Square anymore but i think I'll make time out during the second leg of my trip to see the work of our Nigerian brother. I've seen pictures, I wanna be there in person!

Yeah LoDo is a nice place. Were you able to get to 16th Street Mall? It's a good place for shopping. I'm going camping near the mountains too for the second time on this trip so that ought to be fun.

Do you mean Mall of the Emirates? I've never been to Dubai though. This will be my first time. Why don't you let my journey unfold then you can answer my questions along the way.

Egypt is a great place to visit if you plan your journey well enough. I won't be able to get to Miami on this leg of the trip but I'll pen it into my calendar for next Spring.

My guy, how far na? As season don end nothing too dey happen!

Just so everyone else knows, I entered into the lottery for World Cup Tickets and was offered 7 tickets from first round to the final but had to turn them down. The evidence is posted below.

ahonohai:

, at the risk of controversy again.

I recently entered into the ticket ballot for World Cup tickets to follow Nigeria throughout the tournament (hoping we qualify!!!).

I changed my mind thinking I wouldn't get the tickets and I could be better off going on Vacation elsewhere and watching the games on TV.

Yesterday I got an email this morning from the Ticketing Centre that my entry was successful and that I had up till Monday to pay for the tickets. . . If I don't I forfeit them.

"You will be provided with three (3) attempts to process your payment prior to the payment deadline specified above. Please note that your Ticket allocation is not transferable, and we must receive payment from you, not a third party"

What should I do

I was at work during the Christmas Break so adding that to last year's outstanding and this year's leave I started the year with a healthy balance. The Dubai portion is really a training which happened to fall during this period. I was able to get them to book my tickets from London so I don't need to come back to Lagos before flying out to Dubai.

As M.I said, "beef is like Ganja, bring it and we smoke am"

Cheers

Kenosky
