Vice President Yemi Osinbajo held a town hall meeting on Sunday in Minnesota with the Nigerian diaspora living within and outside the state of Minneapolis in the United States. The ambiance of the town hall meeting was that of enthusiasm as the Nigerian international community were elated with the presence of the VP and were more than eager to engage him.

The meeting highlighted several issues and concerns of the international community about the current state of affairs in Nigeria, especially in respect to the 2019 General Elections, health, agriculture, anti-corruption and the clamor for restructuring the country.

The Vice President emphasized that a simple geographical restructuring of the country should not be the main focus of the country rather, emphasis should be placed on prudential management of the nation’s resources and proper provision for its citizens.
