I Need Someone To Solve This Chemistry Question For Me by Timijo(m): 6:59pm On Aug 28, 2018 |
Please I someone to solve this question. 3.0g of a mixture of potassium carbonate and potassium chloride were dissolved in a 250cm3 standard flask. 25cm3 of this solution required 40.00cm3 of 0.01M HCl for neutralization. What is the percentage by weight of k2CO3 in the mixture? (k = 39, O = 16, C = 12) 1 Like |

These ones are Physics questions can anyone solve them 1. A bullet of mass 20g travelling horizontally at 100m/s, embeds itself in the centre of a block of wood 1kg which is suspended by light vertical string 1m, calculate the velocity |

2. A car moving with a velocity of 20m/s at 30o to the horizontal, what is the components of the velocity along the horizontal. Timijo:2. A car moving with a velocity of 20m/s at 30o to the horizontal, what is the components of the velocity along the horizontal |

Timijo: 9.2% check your molar concentration it appears to be too small maybe it's 0.1M HCl. Gracias |

Timijo: 2. 10ms-1 3. 17.32 ms-1 horizontal vertical is 10 m/s |

Thanks. Here is another one. A 15kg monkey hangs from a cord suspended from the ceiling of an elevator. The cord can withstand a tension of 200N and breaks as the elevator accelerates. What was the elevator's minimum acceleration (in magnitude and direction)? Take g=10.0ms-2 THANKS SIR |

Timijo:It's been a while. Let's see... The maximum tension it can withstand should equal a summation of all of the experienced forces ( The weight, first and foremost, in addition to the force due to upward acceleration) If you subtract the weight (15 X 9.8MS-1 =147N) from the maximum permissible tension, (200N - 147N = 53N), you are left with the upper limit of the permissible force due to upward motion. The maximum acceleration is then, this value divided by the mass of the monkey 53/15 =3.53ms-1. |

Timijo: T=m(a+g) 200=15(a+10) 200=15a+150 15a=50 a=50/15 a=3.33m/s² |
