Igbudu a small town in Warri was thrown into mourning early Monday morning following the tragic demise of two young children. The tragedy according to multiple reports shared online, occurred late Sunday evening when the mother of the two children left a candle burning in the room while she went out to get something, leaving the two little children aged between 10 and 14, asleep in the flat.

An alarm was raised by a vigilant neighbor who strolled outside to take a leak, and efforts were made to try and stop the blaze but to no avail, as even the fire service department contacted were not available. The result of the inferno were sadly uncovered grimly early the following morning, after the fire had done its course; with the bodies of the two children lying lifeless and burnt beyond recognition. The mother of the two children has been totally inconsolable, and was forced to be put under, after she threatened to take her own life.
