A 34yr old taxi driver took two runs-girls who approached him to help take them to someone who will make charms for them to hook men, to a boy who he arranged with to disguise as a prophet. He succeeded in taking them there and collecting some amount as fee for the job done, but unknown to the girls, he had also arranged with some other boys from the village to attack them as armed rubbers on their way back to Port Harcourt. The boys( four of them) attacked them, stole money, phones from the girls, raped them, and also made the cab-man to partake in the rape. That day was over, they went another day probably to complete what they started, the same incident repeated itself. The girls became suspicious, and so did not pay him his complete money for his service that day, they called him another day to come and pick up his balance, unknown to him, they had already arranged with some policemen who came and rounded him up. On the process of torture he confessed to all these, the other accomplices are on the run, he has been in cell for two weeks now. |
