The Managing Director of Guaranty Trust (GT) Bank in Liberia has been arrested on Tuesday by the police after he physically assaulted a staff of the bank.

The Nigerian identified as Ayodeji Bejide has been detained in the police nest while the victim, Edward Freeman has been told to seek medical attention after both of them were arrested.

A video making rounds on social media showed Freeman with a bloody lip. It was reported that Bejide attacked Freeman by throwing a calculator at him which hit him on the lips during a brief disagreement.
