The Role Of Patience And Love In Your Faith - Heb 6:12, Heb 10:36, Gal 5:6 by Nobody: 5:49am On Aug 30, 2018
Your faith needs patience to live. Hebrews 6:12. “That ye be not slothful but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises”. Impatience has killed a lot of people’s faith. When you see a person that is sound in patience, he has understood the word of God, he has worked the word and he’s waiting for the word to produce.

I discovered that patience is used in two ways in the Bible. As a time period, (you always need patience in the time period for manifestation of your faith) and also when the crisis of the exercise of your faith comes. The symptoms grow bigger. Patience is that inner quietness that keeps your faith constant that God never fails. The Bible tells us in the book of Isaiah 28:16, “He that believes shall not make haste”. Whenever you are hasty, the devil is at work and he wants to short-circuit you.

Gal 5:6 says “For in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision availeth anything nor uncircumcision but faith which worketh by love. “Another translation says, “But only faith is moved unto action by love.” Your faith needs love to live. Faith is active and energized in love. So, not to love is to kill your faith and cut yourself from blessings. Mark 11:25 says, unforgiveness will keep God from releasing your answer to prayer. And that is an aspect of lack of love. If you love somebody, you will not remember wrongs done against you. Love is a forgiver, and not only forgiving, it drops the matter.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to love and be patient in Jesus’ name. Amen.
