Popular Nigerian artist Adeleke David aka Davido has made it known via his social media account that he is responding to the clarion call by serving the nation. Orientation Camp for the mandatory graduate National youth Service Corp, he is currently at the NYSC camp in Lagos NYSC.

Davido on Instagram posted a photo of him dressed in the corpers full gears popularly referred to as 7 ove7,

He wrote: “#Nysc .. tying up every loose end!”

He graduated from Babcock University in the year 2015 with a second class upper in music.
erhaps his move to serve the nation is inspired by the hard time some politicians are currently facing in the country due to their inability to provide a legitimate NYSC certificate and school certificate. In a wise move by the artiste, he wants to avoid any probable problems that might come up in the future. Nigerians have reacted to the photos the singer shared in his NYSC uniform. I would like to commend @iam_Davido for registering to undertake the NYSC in accordance with the law. Despite what many young people feel, the NYSC scheme is based on lofty ideals of nation-building. Perhaps the only scheme that has survived both military and civilian regimes.
