Popular Nigerian female Disc Jockey, Florence Otedola better known by her stage name DJ Cuppy has explained why she stopped being a feminist.

Cuppy who is a daughter of popular oil magnate, Femi Otedola said a lot of women would say something in the open and act contrary to their words behind closed doors.

She advised women to focus on improving themselves instead of trying to change men’s perception of women.

In her words: “You cannot change the way people think, all you can change is what people do and how you act.

“So, if we go around as women trying to change the way men think, we are going to tire ourselves out.


“What we need is to focus on our own energy, focus on achieving our own goals and working on our own selves.”
