TCL Communication has officially launched the cheaper variant of the BlackBerry KEY2. Known as the BlackBerry KEY2 LE, the smartphone comes with a 4.5 inches display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 1620. Powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset clocked at 1.8GHz, the device comes in two variants. One packed a 4GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, while the other rocks a 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage.

The BlackBerry KEY2 LE runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with an Adreno 509 graphic processing unit. The phone comes with its fingerprint sensor located on the space bar. It comes with body dimension of 150.25 x 71.8 x 8.35 mm and weighs 156 grams. The device is available in Slate, Champagne and Atomic colour variants powered by a 3,000mAh battery capacity.
