The people of Ughelli North state constituency 2, are in for a mind blowing experience as one of their illustrious son and aspirant Engr Evwierhurhoma Jonathan Onoriode steps out to take their mandate and go to the Delta state House of Assembly in Asaba and attracts visible projects to them.















He has made up his mind to restore their lost glory over the past three years. Engr.

Evwierhurhoma Jonathan Onoriode hails from Afiesere community, in Ughelli North Local Government Area, all in Delta state.



He attended Igwhreto (former SS Peter and Paul ) Primary school and had his secondary education in Afiesere secondary school. He went on to get his first degree B.sc in Water and Soil Engineering from the prestigious Federal University of Technology, FUTO, Owerri, Imo state.



He is a philanthropist, a role model, a burden bearer and a man of the people who believe in the the well being of the all those around him. He is a grass root politician whose efforts has helped in delivering the votes of Ughelli North Local Government to Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, in the 2015 gubernatorial election.



He gave his total support and mobilized people to vote for Hon Godwin Adode, also known as Tete, to become the Ughelli North Local Government chairman.

Engr. Evwierhurhoma Jonathan Onoriode, started his political career in the Federal University of Technology, FUTO, where he participated in active politics by assuming some positions as a student leader.



He was a two time PRO of National Unon of Urhobo Students, NUUS, FUTO chapter and also the board of trustees chairman department of Water and Soil Engineering of the same institution. He was also one time PRO FUTO Alumni Ughelli North Local Government chapter.



He has been active in partisan politics since leaving school and that has made him to embark on community development initiatives , selfless service to humanity and above all a humble party man.



He is a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, their principles he cherished and has always given is best whenever the need arises.

He played an active role in the 2015 general elections by mobilizing people massively to vote for all PDP aspirants in the LGA. He was very active in the Okowability 2015 SMART AGENDA struggle. He was also active online through a political support group he belongs to “Okowa online Coalition.”



He was the co-ordinator Delta Central, Deltans in diaspora.



Until recently he was the PA to the commissioner representing Ughelli North and the Urhobos in Patani LGA in DESOPADEC.

He is happily married to a lovely woman, Mrs Tessy Evwierhurhoma, the marriage is blessed with two kids.
